About Kintsugi
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese restoration technique in which broken pottery is repaired rather than discarded. The repaired cracks become part of the object's history, making every piece truly one of a kind.
Food Safety
This piece was repaired using fully cured natural Urushi lacquer and pure gold. Once fully cured, traditional Urushi is considered suitable for tableware and can be used as intended.
