O-Wakizashi ( longer ) short sword from the early Edo period with Chrysanthemum Crest and Meibun “Tanba no Kami “ that was auriaged or cut-shortened. See picture of the tang and engraved Crest and existing meibun signature. In black urushi koshirae mounting with hana flower patterned fuchi kashira and menuki handle ornaments. Tsuba is Edo peeiod Iron Tsuba open work Design of lightning. Famous sword-smith “Tanba no kami Yoshimichi” was known for this unique and exceptionally difficult hamin patten to execute known as “Sadureba” that resembles “Bamboo blinds” of which this sword possesses. A longer elegant wakizashi short sword with Chrysanthemum crest and “Tanba no kami “ existing meibun signature. My Availability:
