Here are the English test dates for Japanese boater and jet ski licenses for 2026:
14 April, last day to register is 6 April
16 June, last day to register is 8 June.
19 Aug, last day to register is 10 Aug.
14 Oct, last day to register is 5 Oct.
Test Location is at the Okinawa Marina, behind Sam's by the Sea (Awase).
Jet Ski is Y65,000, Class 2 is Y82,000, and Class 1 Step up is Y47,000 this includes all application, test fees, and boat fees for practical driving test and driving lessons.
Study materials for jet ski and boat license can be picked up at Ocean Party in Ginowan, once all fees are paid.
