Made in Ghana (if what I was told when purchased 20 years ago is true) and would be referred to as a Gyli or Gyil there. I call it (with no disrespect intended) a wooden xylophone. Has been stored away for several years, but still makes a beautiful sound. I never used it as an instrument, but have displayed it as home decor off and on over the past 20 years. 90cm long, 52cm tall, and 55cm wide at it widest point.
